- Parties: This Terms of Service agreement is between luminous algorithms GmbH (“Company”) and the individuals or entities using our services (“User”).

3. Use of the Service
- The Company provides a system to design and simulate light, make computations and download resulting datasets.
- The Company may grant the User access to an early state of the system for evaluation purposes. This system is labeled the “beta” system. The software on the beta system is in development. Updates and service interruptions may be carried out without prior notice. The beta system is not licensed to the User for any commercial work. For commercial work please contact the Company and enter a service contract on the production system.
- The Company may contact the User through the email address given by the User for information about the system, research and marketing communication.
4. User Accounts
- To use certain features of our services, you may be required to register for an account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password.
5. Privacy and Data Protection
We collect, use, and protect your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
6. Intellectual Property
- All content on our website is owned by Company and is protected by intellectual property laws.
- Users are granted the right to download and use the results of their computations for personal purposes.

- Users are responsible for the content and data they submit and must not violate our content guidelines.
- Users are responsible to use our system in a fair way. Thus not trying to overload the system with a flood of manual or automatic requests. And to report any kind of error, bug or abnormal functionality of the system.

- Company reserves the right to terminate or suspend accounts for violations of these Terms of Service.
- The service my be changed or terminated by the Company at any time.
- Users may also terminate their accounts at any time.
10. Dispute Resolution
- Any disputes arising from these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dortmund, Germany.
- We encourage users to seek resolution through alternative dispute resolution methods, such as mediation or arbitration.
11. Limitation of Liability
The service is provided as “as-is” without any liability for the availability or correctness of the service and the displayed data.
12. Warranties and Disclaimers
- Company provides our services “as is,” without warranties of any kind.
